She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn Duane and Frank J. Duane; and her brother Franklin J. Duane. She is survived by: her husband Francis X. Emmet Jr. (Frank) of Kensington, MD; her children, Eileen (Robert Gray), Kathleen (Hamid Samiy), Duane (Bonnie Reiness), Denise (Kevin Brady), Francis X. (Chip) and Annmarie (Larry Leadman); her grandchildren, Amira Samiy, Ally, Michael, Hannah Emmet (Weston Jarnagin), Kevin (Brianne Rafferty), Kate (Mike Blumberg), Thomas Brady, Patrick (Grace Barry), Camille Emmet (Tony Caporlette), Frances and Claire Leadman; her great grandchildren, Caroline and Connor Brady; and her grandchildren, Leon, Roen Blumberg and Luke Emmet.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (5949 Western Ave, Washington, DC 20015). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
