We are sad to announce that, on February 22, 2026, at the age of 98, Margaret Lucille Sampson in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Edna Collier Cardin and John Isaac Cardin, Sr.; her husband Melvin Thomas Sampson; and her niece Patricia Gordon Eppard. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly Diane Sampson; and her siblings, Mary Shirley, Eunice Zazicki, Evelyn Comer, Lorine Smith, Ima Jean Gordon, Madeline Cardin, Clinton Cardin, John Isaac Cardin, Jr., Roy Cardin and Faye Hansbrough.
