She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Bishop and Marie Graham Bishop; her husband William Henry Jones; and her siblings, Lessie Sr., Katherine, Geneva, Moses Sr., Sallie, Hugh Jr., James Walter, Effie Nancy, Daisy, Leroy, Laura and Katie.

She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Matthews; her grandchildren, Donald Matthews, Jr. (Tamara) and Portia Christopher (Marcus); and her friends, Lucy Ramsay and Agnes Addison. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; a host of relatives.
