Though Marie Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marie Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carrie Pearl Nabinett; her sister Shirley Stokes; and her grandsons, Emanuel Parker and Carl Whitfield. She is survived by: her sisters, Constance Laverne Lucas and Pauline McClendon Fullard; and her children, Michael Overn Nabinett (Cindy), Carolyn D. Whitfield-Onoabhagbe, DeNeen Nabinett Rapley and Pearl Lisa Garnett. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
