He was predeceased by: his parents, Mario Tama and Maria Tama. He is survived by: his wife Elaine (D. C.); his sons, Mario Tama III (Kiruthi) of Los Angeles and Rear Admiral Jason Tama; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Norah; and his brother G. Pedro Tama (Jane).
