He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Dever, Jr. and Kristine Dever. He is survived by: his wife Valérie Kindt; his children, Samuel Kindt Dever and Amber Lewis (Josiah); his grandson Seth; his sister Carolyn; his brother-in-law Paul Young; and his nephew Noah Dever Young.
