She is survived by: her children, Nathaniel Myrick, Jr., Teresa Speight (Anthony), Janice Carter (late Eric), Barbara Ann Myrick and David Myrick, Sr. (Sheena); her sisters, Ethel Mae Williams of Everetts and Rosie W. Mills of Williamston; her grandchildren, Angela Speight, Sharlitta Myrick Gilbert, Eric Carter, Jr., Shawntay Myrick, Christina Hall (Taurice), Erica Carter, Shanae Myrick Bond (Justin), David Myrick, Jr. (Krysten), Anthony Speight, Jr. (Kathy) and Nathaniel Kamile Myrick III; her great grandchildren, Hannah Speight Williams, Kassedi Speight, Karter Speight, Deziyanna Speight, Kaitlyn Myrick, Khloe Myrick, Karleigh Myrick, David Myrick III, Dylan Myrick, Drew Myrick, Darius Carter, Yternity Myrick, Daniel Moore, Justice Bond, Bella Bond, Jade Bond, Noelle Gilbert, Clinton Gilbert IV, Tre'Shawn Hall and Onyx Hall; Sadie Smith, Marva J. Boyden and Marlene Poston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Temple Church of Christ (439 12th St SE, Washington, DC 20003). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
