She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tisinger and Marguerite Tisinger; and her sister Philomena.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Chapel (1524 35th St NW, Washington, DC 20007). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Nolan Center (1524 35th St NW, Washington, DC 20007-2785). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at the Cemetery and Reception.
As she laid down her leadership as superior of her Georgetown community in 2008, Sister Philomena learned that she had Alzheimer's disease.
