We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2025, at the age of 81, Michael Goldstein (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Jinny; his brother William; his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Marielle; his grandchildren, Aria, Layla and Jonah; and his nephews, Andy and Marc.
In lieu of flowers, and consistent with Mike's extraordinary dedication to both the artistic community and to expanding educational opportunities, the family would appreciate donations to The Washington Ballet (https://www.washingtonballet.org), which is establishing a scholarship fund in Mike's honor to provide financial support for talented pre-professional ballet students.
