With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Leon Kidd formerly of Washington, District of Columbia, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Kidd and Samuel Scott; and his siblings, Gail Olivia, Carl Lomax, John Samuel and Roland Debois.

He is survived by: his children, Mikeyla Jeanel (E. Jean Lewis), DaVaughn Aundre Leon and LaToya (Joyce Lewis) of Virginia; his grandson Ahmir Michael; and his sisters, Deborah Lovett (Lewis), Sondra Kidd-Jones and Robin Boseman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
