He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elaine Sheehan (Downs); his parents, Charline Sheehan (Springsguth) and Edwin A. Sheehan; his siblings, Brian "Puddy" Sheehan and Patricia Heister; his daughters, Diane Winchester (Keith), Julie Rock (Dean) and Kerry Fries (Ted); and his grandchildren, Michael, Allie, Erin, Meagan and Finn.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (5949 Western Ave, Washington, DC 20015).
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Michael Sheehan may be directed to support Dr. Govind Warrier's melanoma and skin cancer research at Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, 750 East Pratt Street, Suite 1700, Baltimore, MD 21202.
