It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minerva Smith Giles in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband Donald Giles; her children, Donna Giles of White Plains, NY and Steven Giles (Cynthia) of Asheville, NC; her grandsons, Daniel Giles (Anna Marie) of Raleigh, NC and Dylan Giles of Providence, RI; and her sister-in-law Martha Giles of Dallas, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
