She is survived by: her children, Douglas Parker Sr. (Annie), Carolyn Brown (Dee Lee) of New Haven, CT., Doretha Tyson (Willie) of New Haven, CT. and Lucinda Minder of New Haven, CT.; her siblings, Elder George Rufus Kornegay, Vernice Dent (Billy) and Sheila Kornegay of Washington, D. C.; her goddaughters, Shonda Reaves Smith and Mary Alice Thomas; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Parker; and her grandson Anthony Mitchell. She is also survived by children, four sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
