She was predeceased by: her husband Michael F. Burke; her parents, Vernon Apple and Emeline Apple (Woods) of North Carolina; and her sister Patsy Apple Morse of North Carolina. She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Michelle Burke; her son-in-law Michael Sargeant; and her granddaughter Emma Maeve Sargeant of Bethesda.
