She was predeceased by: her parents, James Byrd and Delia Byrd. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Horace Austin, Desiree (Kevin) and Deborah (Vincent); her grandchildren, Matthew Coppedge, Brittany Harper-Jones (Alexis), Monica McNutt (Justin), Melanie McNutt, Brianna Jones and Andrea Jones; and her great grandchildren, Naeem McClendon and Sanai Hooks. She is also survived by her children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
