It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Belma Monson of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on May 3, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Reeley and Esther Reeley (Parish); her husband Jared Monson (Jerry); her son Lynn; her sister Marcella Matlack; and her brothers-in-law, Everett Matlack and Marvin Williams.
She is survived by: her son David Monson (Dave); her daughter-in-law Gina Monson of Sherman; her grandsons, Erik Monson (Lilly) of Euless, Layne Monson (Danielle) of The Colony, Jereme Monson (Jenny) of Tomball and Jacob Monson of Alvin, Texas.; her sister Shirley Williams of Delaware; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Matthew, Luke, David, Joshua, Michael, Eva Marie, Emory and Jeremiah Monson; her stepgranddaughters, Jenifer Lamb (Chad) and Bridget Harrell (Colin); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zachary, Callie, Natalie, Alison Lamb, Preslee and Slade Harrell.
