It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Dewar of Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Adassa Dewar and Arthur Adassa; his grandmother Sister Missie; his son Errol; his siblings, Dudley, Robert, Derrick, Wilton, Mary, Dahlia and Cassilda; his wife Amy; his children, Angela, Kendrick and Godfrey; and his sisters, Lorna, Jean, Shirley and Venlyn (Victor).
He is survived by: his close friend Amy; his grandchildren, Andra, Jacqueline, Errol, Jason, Jahrayn and Jahymal; his daughter Tondalaya; and his great grandchild Nasir. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
