He was predeceased by: his parents, F. Stuart Tingley and Ethel Tingley. He is survived by: his brother John Tingley (Dianne); his niece Lindsay Schall (Frank); and his nephews, David (Erica) and Andrew Tingley (Amy).
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the National Presbyterian Church (4101 Nebraska Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016). A burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD 20746).
