With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Leonard Chamberlain Sr. of Washington, District of Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Richard and Anne Chamberlain (White); his siblings, Charles Richard Jr. and Thaddea; and his nephew Tim.

He is survived by: his wife Iracema; his son Robert Jr.; his grandson Ian; his daughter Ann (Brian); his grandchildren, Bryson and Ellie; his daughters, Catherine and Susan; and his sisters, Pat, Cate and Stephanie.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament (5949 Western Ave, Washington, DC 20015). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
