It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Reid (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Garnett, South Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his sibling Christian; his wife Edna W. Edwards; his daughter Brenda Reid-Sanders (Sanders); his son-in-law Don Q Sanders; and his siblings, Katherine Bostic and Earl N. Graves. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, grand nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Asbury United Methodist Church and to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Robert Reid.
