He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Judy Herr; his children, Ruth, Michael (Annah) and John Samuelson (Kira); his brother Richard Samuelson; his sister-in-law Mary Sims; his grandchildren, Max and Asher; and his caregivers, Marvyn Conteh, Manuel Matsiko, Ned Torres, Jerome Nkugwo and Jean-Luc Blanc.
