He is survived by: his wife Sallie Mae Dixon; his son Rodney Erik (Evalena); his daughter-in-law Patricia Thomas (late Robert Earl Thomas, Jr.); his sister Thomas Dixon (Levy); his sister-in-law Barbara Thomas (late Ivan Thomas); his grandchildren, Kweisi, Hasani, Sequoia, Dakari, Aaliyah, Noelle and Amaya; his godson Robert L. DeVeaux; and his siblings, Alfonza and Gloria Edwards.
