He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Mae (Greene) and James M. Boteler. He is survived by: his significant other Timothy Bovello; and his sister Debra Ann Niggemeyer. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece, his 6 parrots, 2 brothers, and all of Timothy's brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (595 3rd St NW, Washington, DC 20001). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
