She was predeceased by : her parents, William Winder and Ruth Winder; her brother Bill; and her husband Russell H Strange. She is survived by : her sister Patricia Winder; her pet Louise; her stepsons, Trey Strange (Tammy) and Stuart Strange; her nieces and nephews, Russell Williams (David Schaefer), Cindra Finney (Martin), Mary Gartland, Julia Pulcifer, Debra Worley (David), Alexander Strange III (Jane), Scott McGowan, Michael Strange (Eileen) and Andrew Strange (Mary); and her boyfriend George Holborow.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Knollwood Chapel (6200 Oregon Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015).
