With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rudolph James Johnson (Washington, District of Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Nathaniel and Genevieve Rose Johnson; his siblings, Jeanette, Reginald and Erik Johnson; his parents-in-law, William and Annie Gray; and also William Gray, Jr..
He is survived by: his niece Nina; his wife Agnes Johnson; his son Colin Johnson (Bianca); his stepson Courtney Williams; his granddaughter Kalyse Johnson; his great grandchild Kamiyah King; his siblings, Walter "Nat" Johnson, Warlene Smith and Tyrone Johnson (Joyce); and his brother-in-law Rev. Chester Gray. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Seabrook Sda Church (8900 Good Luck Rd, Lanham, MD 20706). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
