With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Mary Wimer (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Fox Chapel, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Franklin Wimer and Marjorie Wimer; her husband Tim; her sons, Tim Jr., Christian and William; her daughter-in-law Alessandra; and her siblings, Frank Jr. (Lourdes), Richard (Laurel), Jessica, Valerie (Dick), Judy (Jeff), Gary (Gretchen) and Douglas (Linda). She was also cherished by extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joseph Gawler's Sons Funeral Home (5130 Wisconsin Ave, Washington, DC 20016). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (3513 N St NW, Washington, DC 20007).
