She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Bryant and Kelly Reed; her grandchildren, Kapree Budd, Tiara Bryant, Jaylen Bryant and Aija Bryant; her great grandchildren, Dylan Anderson, Dezaray Riley, Tiana Ouzts, Zaria Riley and O'el Riley; her siblings, Lawrence "Chuck" Dyson, Jr. (Janet), Karen Taylor (Roger) and Jean Jennings; and her sister-in-law Sharon Hughes-Dyson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Goshen United Methodist Church (19615 Goshen Rd, Montgomery Village, MD 20879). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Gate of Haven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
She returned to work as a secretary with Montgomery County Public Schools, served with the Montgomery County Board of Elections, and volunteered with the American Cancer Society.
