She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Leona Gregory; and her brothers-in-law, Walter Vines (Pat), Richard Vines (Myrtis), Ulysses Vines (Helena), Carter Vines (Pansy), Charles Vines (Virginia) and Harold Vines (Lula).
She is survived by: her daughters, Melodi Je McNeil of Silver Spring and Dr. Patsy Merea McNeil of Bowie, Maryland.; her stepchildren, James Mosley Vines, Jr. (Doreen), Keven Vines (Rebekah) and Angela Vines; and her friends, Eva Stokes, Esther Wroten, Sylvia Dennis and Grace Ware. She is also survived by her daughters and stepchildren, she leaves behind step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nineteen nieces, twenty-three nephews, thirty-two great-nieces and nephews, and nineteen great-great-nieces.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fort Dupont Park Seventh Day Adventist (3985 Massachusetts Ave SE, Washington, DC 20019). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Dupont Park Seventh Day Adventist Church (3985 Massachusetts Ave SE, Washington, DC 20019).
