She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Covington and Ella Covington; her husband Elisha Odom; and her brothers, John Ed McCoy, Willie, Norman and Leamon Covington.
She is survived by: her children, Cherrill Covington, Barry, Angela, Amanda Lowery (Michael) and Courtney Pittman (Clifton); her grandchildren, Charis, Donnell, Latesha, Michael Jr., LaTonya, Malik and Cenoriah; her great grandchildren, Saniah, Bayanni and Nataliah; and her sisters, Ida Mae Williams and Magdalene Garner.
