She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Spriggs and Hattie B. Spriggs; her brother Edward Spriggs Jr.; her uncle Edward Gibson; and her aunts, Joyce Gibson-Harrison and Alice Gibson.

She is survived by: her children, Charmika Spriggs and Avonte Spriggs; her brother Wesley Spriggs; and her sister-in-law Nicole Spriggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
