He is survived by: his wife Gisela; his daughter Andrea; his son-in-law John of Baltimore, MD; his son Thomas; his daughter-in-law Britta of Potomac, MD; his granddaughters, Anna and Sophia; his sister Judith; and his brothers-in-law, Michael and Robert. He is also survived by loving father, a loyal friend, but most of all a doting "Opa" to his granddaughters.
