With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J Whalen (Washington, District of Columbia), who passed away on May 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas J Whalen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Whalen and Mae Whalen; his brothers-in-law, Daniel Donovan and Bill Grayson; and his nephew Richard Grayson.

He is survived by: his daughter Honoré "Nora" Whalen Wagner; his son-in-law David Wagner; his sisters-in-law, Helen Marie Grayson and Marcella Donovan; his nephew Dan Donovan; and his nieces, Marcella Donovan Walker (Ryan) and Winifred Grayson.
