He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Kern Jansen and Agnes Brady Jansen; his sisters, Virginia Ogren and Marlene Stewart (Ken); and his former wife Rebecca Pohl Jansen.
He is survived by: his son Adam; his wife Laura Ingersoll; his daughter-in-law Sharon Jansen; his grandchildren, Melissa and Ethan; his sibling's children, Karen Stewart, Vickie Rafter (Matt), Robin Obarski (Vince) and Mark Ogren; and his brother-in-law John Ogren. He is also survived by cousins; and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alban's Episcopal Church (3100 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20016).
