Virginia Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2025, Virginia Cox (Washington, District of Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her husband DeLacy Cox; and her sons, Edwin and Nolan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fifteenth Street Presbyterian Church (1701 15th St NW, Washington, DC 20009). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
