William Samuel Greenberg Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Samuel Greenberg of Washington, District of Columbia, born in New York, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Greenberg and Dorothy Greenberg; and his sister Susan Ranney. He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Kit Herrera (Pedro), Tony Greenberg (Keiko) and Elizabeth Wilkinson (TJ); his grandchildren, Sebastian, Emiko, Lillian and Sam; and his siblings, Stephen Greenberg (Lisa) and Leslie Aronson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of The Honorable William S. Greenberg may be directed to support The Pishvaian Greenberg Fund at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital.
