He is survived by: his spouse Dimitroula Lolos Kavadias; his son Gregory Kavadias (Lizbeth); his granddaughters, Julieta and Marcela; his brother Konstantinos (Penelope); his stepchildren, Konstandinos Lolos, Stella Lolos (Niko) and Eleni Lolos (Haralambos); and his sister-in-law Koula. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral (2815 36th St NW, Washington, DC 20007). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
