Grate-Harris; his wife Regina Allen-Magruder; his sisters, Christine Magruder and Joan Ward-Peace; his grandchildren, Kaia, Byron Jr. and Copelin; and his stepsons, Lawrence Allen, Michael Allen (Clydellia), Eric Allen (Cherissa) and William McCaleb. He is also survived by many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
