We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to William Brooks Blaisdell Moody (Washington, District of Columbia), born in Newport, Rhode Island. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Patrick. He is survived by: his children, Sarah B. Moody of Brooklyn, NY and Nathaniel B. B. Moody of San Carlos, CA; his grandchildren, Olivia Moody, Hugo Cavallero and Finn Moody; and his siblings, Jayne Vorder Bruegge and Stanson Moody.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Knollwood Retirement Community Chapel (6200 Oregon Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015).
In lieu of flowers, Bill requested contributions to St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Incline Village, NV; Sandy Spring Friends School; Wesleyan University; or a charity of the donor's choice.
