We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2022, at the age of 79, Brenda J. Carney of Bear, Delaware passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Fleetwood of Georgetown, DE and Marie Fleetwood of Georgetown, DE; and her siblings, Carol McHale, Delores Shupe and Norvel Fleetwood.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Carney; her daughters, Denise Craft (Robert), Kathleen Denver (Brett), Michele Michalcewiz (William) and Melissa Carney-Pope (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Christine Denton (Rob), Michael Craft (Amanda), Brenden Denver, Camryn Denver, Brynn Michalcewiz and Erin Michalcewiz; her great grandchildren, Juliana, Robbie Denton, Liam and Emma Craft; and her sister Patricia Cuomo (Henry Cuomo).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Dementia and Alzheimer's research.
