She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Messick and Evelyn Messick (Hood); her husband Earle Van Blarcom, Sr.; her son-in-law Kevin Kite; her grandson R. J. Van Blarcom; and her sister Joan Van Blarcom.
She is survived by: her children, Gwen Lantagne (Peter), Elaine Kite, Kelly Testerman (Gary) and Earle Van Blarcom, Jr. (Heather); and her grandchildren, Karen Dills, Laurie Dills-Madrigal (Chris), Michael Orr (Laura), Zach Orr, Caitlin Orr, Delanie Walton (Sean), Katherine Rubolino (Michael), Ryan Testerman (Chelsea) and Stephanie Pollinger. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
