The memory of Elizabeth Lee Dickens of Bear, Delaware, who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Chando (Appleby) and Leon Chando; her former husband Roy "Butch" Dickens; her son-in-law Daniel Givens; and her great grandchild River Cannoy.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Dickens (Karen), Dawn Shutak (Dave) and Kim Givens; her grandchildren, Mackenzie Cannoy (Charlie), David Shutak (Hailey), Olivia Shutak (Billy), Caitlin Dowd (Chris), Ryan Givens, Riley Givens (Kenna) and Jesse Dickens (Kayla); her great grandchildren, Graylon and Kylan; and her sisters, Karen Toht (Mike) and Barbara DeVictor (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mealey Funeral Home - Limestone (2509 Limestone Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Shriners Hospital for Children.
