She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Carl and Elsie B. Wenke (Dolson); her husband James R. Bennett; her son Stephen M. Bennett; her siblings, Alma Simmons, Ruth Jensen and Henry Wenke; her grandchildren, Jesse and Wesley Bennett; and her daughter-in-law Lynn Bennett.
She is survived by: her sons, James R., Jay D. (Alice) and David C. Bennett (Kim); her daughter-in-law Carol Bennett; and her sister Janice Lehman. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home (1000 N Dupont Hwy, Wilmington Manor, DE 19720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
