Janice Schafferman Lewis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Schafferman Lewis of Bear, Delaware, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clarence and Margaret Drummond (Williams) of Virginia; her former husband Robert Schafferman; her husband Giacomo Lewis; her son Robert Schafferman, Jr.; her siblings, Herbert Wesley Drummond, Sharon L. Powell and Carl Drummond; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Powell and Jeanne Drummond.
She is survived by: her children, Margie Allen (David), Karl Schafferman (Marion) and Richard Schafferman (Colette); her stepdaughter Clara Marie Tucker; and her siblings, Boone Drummond (Helen) and June McNatt (Louis). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janice's memory to Milford Church of God, 500 Walnut Street, Milford, DE 19963.
