He is survived by: his wife Queen Adrienne Lurry; his children, Carolyn Lynette Lurry Mapp, John Lewis Lurry, Jr. (Jennel) and Michael Christopher Lurry; his grandchildren, Adrienne Lurry-Stewart, Nicole Mapp and Imani Lurry; his great grandchildren, Kwamel Lurry and Kemuel Lurry; his sister Margaret Aaron (Paul); and his sisters-in-law, Carrie Garlick and Viola Anderson.
