She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Sweeney and Dorothy M. Sweeney (Chandler); her siblings, James C. Sweeney, John W. Sweeney, Nancy Starkey, Dorothy Fleming and MaryLou Stevens; and her son David Petrea.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Nixon (Robie) and Melinda "Sammy" Mizenko (Joe Durso); her granddaughters, Marissa Fernandes, Sadie Fernandes, Amy Mizenko, Aly Mizenko and Alana Petrea; and her great grandchild Josephine "JoJo" Fernandes.
