He is survived by: his wife Pamela Shader Boykin; his sons, Andrew Boykin (Maribelle), Justin Boykin and Brandon Boykin; his parents, James Boykin and Carolyn Boykin; his siblings, Brian Boykin, Andrea Taylor (Jason) and Sharon McFarland; and his pet Darla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
