He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Dennis and Sarah Louise Warmkessel Kirk. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Caroline Holbrook Kirk; his children, Glen Kirk and Barry Kirk (Anna); his grandchildren, Shawn Kirk, Melissa Kirk, Josh Kirk, Krystina Fitzgerald and Alan Hubbard; and his sisters, Norma Heck and Ada Winkowski. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks Home For Funerals (103 Stockton St, Elkton, MD 21921). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
