She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Thomas and Alice Thomas (McDonald); her husband Gordon Howard Trainer; and her siblings, Genevieve Asbury, Frances Knight and Gene Thomas.
She is survived by : her daughters, Karen Trainer and Robin Passwaters (Dale). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
