He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Lynn Connor; and his brother Shawn Edward Connor. He is survived by: his wife Angela Connor (Dionisi); his sons, Seth Michael and Jacob Quinn Connor; his father James "Jim" Connor; his sister Shannon Connor Winward; and his stepson Alex Alexis III. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, in-laws, and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Shane's memory to the memorial fund established in his name.
