She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Burgess; and her parents, Loomis Zimmerman and Sophie Zimmerman. She is survived by: her children, Marlo C. Kropiewnicki (David) of Townsend, John C. Burgess of Newark, Dina M. Steanson of Bear and Alaina G. Cazier (Giz) of Smyrna; and her nephew Ralph E. Voll.
